All information on FESTOOO is published for general informational purposes only. While we work hard to keep listings accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability of any information.

2. How we source events

• Two paths in. Events on FESTOOO come either from verified organizers who list directly, or from our automated crawler that discovers fests from public sources.
• Public pages only. The crawler (built on the Firecrawl API and our own fetcher) indexes only publicly accessible pages — no login walls, paywalls or bypassing of access controls.
• Crawl etiquette. We respect robots.txt, rate-limit our requests, and identify ourselves with a clear User-Agent.
• Factual data only. We store event-level information — title, short description, category, dates, venue, host college, city, state, and the original registration URL — not personal data about students or staff.
• Cover images. We link or proxy to the source image; we do not re-host branded artwork.
• Auto-cleanup. Our link sweeper checks every listing on a schedule. Events whose registration link returns an error, a DNS failure, a closed/expired page, or that have passed their end date are automatically hidden so what you see is always live.

3. Accuracy and changes

Event details — dates, venues, fees, rules, prize money, eligibility — can change at any time and may become outdated. Always confirm the latest details on the official organizer's page before registering, paying or travelling.

4. No endorsement

Listing a fest, college, club or organizer on FESTOOO does not constitute endorsement, certification or recommendation by us. Likewise, the absence of an event from FESTOOO does not imply anything negative about it.

5. Trademarks and intellectual property

College names, fest names, club names, logos and other trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on FESTOOO is for identification and informational purposes only and does not imply any sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement by those institutions.

6. Registration, fees and refunds

FESTOOO does not collect registration fees on behalf of organizers. All payments, tickets, refunds, certificates and prize money are handled directly between you and the organizer. Any dispute about an event — including non-delivery, cancellation, fraud or change of terms — must be raised with the organizer.

7. External links

The Service contains links to third-party websites. We have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any link does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FESTOOO, its founders, employees and contributors shall not be liable for any loss or damage — including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of opportunity, travel expenses, registration fees, or injury — arising from your use of the Service or any event you discover through it.

9. Takedown and correction requests

Are you an organizer, college or rights holder and want a listing removed or corrected? We honour all reasonable requests, usually within 48 hours. Use our report a listing form or email festooo274@gmail.com with the event URL.

10. Updates

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time without prior notice. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when it was last revised. Continued use of FESTOOO means you accept the current version.
