The Frontend Odyssey 2026

The Frontend Odyssey 2026 is a free, individual-only frontend development hackathon organized by Frontend Arena, designed for developers to transform ideas into engaging digital experiences using modern AI-assisted tools. The hackathon consists of two rounds: Round 1 (Selection) involves resume screening based on frontend skills, project experience, and technical background, followed by Round 2 (The Odyssey) where selected participants have 48 hours to build a frontend-only solution to a common problem statement.

Participants are encouraged to use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern frameworks like React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, and AI coding assistants, but are strictly prohibited from using backend development, databases, or server-side applications. The event is open to participants from diverse backgrounds and emphasizes creativity and experimentation with frontend technologies.
