StartupX Hackathon 2026

StartupX Hackathon 2026, organized by Gamnexis, is a free online innovation and startup-focused hackathon for students. Unlike traditional hackathons, it has no fixed theme or domain, allowing participants to choose any problem and technology to build a solution. The hackathon follows a journey from Idea to Final Pitch, aiming to encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and the transformation of ideas into working prototypes or MVPs.

Participants will engage in two rounds: the first involves submitting a startup idea via a PPT presentation and attending a mandatory 5-minute idea meeting. The second round requires shortlisted teams to build an MVP or prototype based on their idea, with submissions including a working demo, demo video, pitch deck, and project description. AI tools are permitted for development, but participants must understand and be able to explain their projects. Judging criteria for both rounds focus on innovation, problem-solution fit, market potential, and technical implementation.
