PowerAI Hackathon 2026 is Karnataka's largest undergraduate AI Hackathon for the Power Sector, aiming to bring together engineering minds to solve real-world problems in the power and energy sector using AI, ML, Digital Twins, Computer Vision, IoT, and Intelligent Automation. Sponsored by the Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) and in collaboration with Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Bengaluru, this event involves two stages: an online screening round and a 24-hour offline finale at MIT Bengaluru. Participants will work on industry-grade problem statements related to power generation, transmission, distribution, and renewable integration. Exceptional teams may receive further technical mentorship and validation opportunities with CPRI experts.
