Moneyball: The Football Auction (Interface 2026)

Moneyball: The Football Auction is an immersive football management and auction simulation event. Participants will compete in teams, using football knowledge, strategic thinking, decision-making, and negotiation skills. The event features an online Football Trivia Quiz testing knowledge of general and recent footballing events, with the top 10 teams qualifying for on-campus rounds.

The on-campus portion includes a 'Bid Maestro' auction to build a squad within a budget, followed by 'Match Simulation & Transfer Market' rounds. Teams compete in FIFA match simulations, with the top 4 advancing to a transfer market phase to acquire players from bottom teams. The modified squads then compete in a final simulation to determine the champion. Awards include 'Best Negotiator'.
