Hefty-Hacks

Hefty Hacks is a fully-online Finance × Trading hackathon presented by TechZap, challenging participants to build innovative solutions at the intersection of finance and trading. The hackathon covers areas such as high-frequency execution engines, market predictors, robo-advisors, fraud radars, and on-chain quant tooling.

Participants are encouraged to pick a narrow niche and develop a deep solution. The event features exclusive career opportunities for the top 10 teams with leading companies and startups. The hackathon is a 36-hour build sprint held online, with teams of 2-6 members. A prize pool of ₹75,000, free Azure credits, and elite mentorship are offered. Tracks include Finance, Trading, and a combined Fusion track. Emphasis is placed on originality and technical depth in judging.
