Edge AI Hackathon 2026

The Edge AI Hackathon 2026 is a national-level hardware innovation challenge organized by the IEEE EDS Student Branch Chapter and IEEE Council on Electronics Design & Automation PMEC. This hackathon encourages students to design and implement real-time Edge AI and Embedded Systems solutions using platforms like FPGA, Raspberry Pi, Renesas, ESP32, and Arduino.

Participants will tackle real-world engineering challenges, showcasing innovation, technical excellence, and hardware implementation skills. The event features online abstract submission, online software simulation, and an on-site hardware implementation round with live demonstration and final presentation. It includes tracks such as FPGA, Raspberry Pi/Renesas Kit, and ESP32/Arduino, covering problem domains like Communication Systems, Biomedical Engineering, Image and Signal Processing, Processor Design, Defence and Security, and Indian Knowledge Systems.
