E.ON Future Makers Challenge

E.ON, in collaboration with Infosys and IIT Madras, is launching a pan-India innovation challenge to find and accelerate breakthrough solutions for Europe's energy infrastructure challenges. The program is designed for students and startups in India with innovative ideas addressing real operational problems in energy networks.

Selected ideas will go through a 15-month journey across three phases: Idea Selection (July-October 2026), Validation (prototype development with mentorship), and Deployment (real-world rollout). The challenge focuses on four themes: Grid Resilience and Physical Protection, IT Security, Robotics & AI for Grid Vigilance and Workforce Safety, and Smart Meter of the Future. Winners will receive grants, lab access, mentorship, and pilot opportunities.
