Decarbonix 1.0

Decarbonix 1.0 is a hackathon organized by Dr SS Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The event consists of two stages. Stage 1 is a preliminary online round where teams receive a problem statement and must submit a 10-slide presentation within 10 hours.

Shortlisted teams proceed to Stage 2, the final offline round. In this stage, teams receive a final problem statement and must submit a detailed 20-slide presentation. The final presentations will take place offline at Trident Industries, Barnala, Punjab, on September 18-19, 2026, and will include a 2-hour plant visit.
