2026 Hack4Health Labs Research Challenge

This competition structures each event like a research program, offering students hands-on biomedical research experience with a focused clinical question, curated datasets, mentorship, and a reproducible deliverable. The goal is to teach rigorous health research practices.

Participants will submit a project proposal, and if shortlisted, complete the project, write an abstract, and potentially a manuscript for the grand prize. Benefits include opportunities for conference publication in venues like IEEE, 100% free participation, and substantial in-kind prizes. To be eligible for prizes, participants must join the competition Discord, follow their LinkedIn page, and invite at least one person. The grand prize requires the project to be deployed on Coder.
